Romans 15:8
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.

What of Today’s Verse…

Hope and joy and peace sound terrific! Two things are vital for this to be a part of our lives. First, we must trust God to meet our needs and get us to where we need to be. Second, we expect the power of the Holy Spirit to bless us and empower us with God’s qualities.

Let us Pray:

Almighty God, bless me with greater trust that you are nearby and long to help. Bless and empower me to be the person you want me to be. Fill me with your Spirit so I may live my life more like Jesus lived his life here on earth. Through him I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

One day you’ll look back on today, and wonder why you were so afraid to take action. One day you’ll look back on today, and wonder why you let so many of life’s minor inconveniences get you down. One day you’ll look back, and wonder why you couldn’t have been a little more disciplined, a little more focused.

What would you regret not doing, if you could look back on today from ten years in the future? What would you consider important about today, looking back? What opportunities would be evident then, that go unnoticed today?

A life of value and meaning is something you build over time, not a jackpot that you win through luck or cunning. Today is an opportunity to build the life you want, an opportunity that will not come again.

Though it is impossible to know what the future will bring, one thing is certain. You’ll never regret making the most of each present moment.
