Isaiah 25:1
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

What of Today’s Verse…

God’s actions are not reactions to current situations, but part of his long-term plan to bring redemption. Yes, he has done marvellous things: he took the evil intent of a mob who cried "Crucify him" and turned it into an opportunity to fulfil the prophesies and redeem us. He is perfect in faithfulness and has done marvellous things.

Let us Pray:

Holy God, you surprise me with new wonders and new things daily. Yet deep in my heart I know they are not new to you. Thank you for not making life boring or predictable so I might thirst after you, you who are forever fresh, new, exciting, and marvellous. Through my Saviour I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Love…

Through God’s unconditional love in my heart, I give and receive love openly.

It doesn’t take much to show someone we care. A candy heart or an act of kindness can bring a hint of sweetness to someone’s day. It’s a blessing to both give and receive when they are done with love.

All of us desire to love and be loved on a deeper level too—one that brings fulfilment and joy in our relationships. Reaching this depth takes patience and courage. In any relationship, the truest love is unconditional. This is the love that was modelled by Jesus—a love that God extends to every one of us every day.

Today we make a commitment to recognize God’s love for us. We accept divine love into our hearts, knowing that this experience of love is something to savour. This is love that won’t dissolve away like a sugary treat; this is love that will last forever.

“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” — John 15:9
