Joel 2:23
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

What of Today’s Verse…

"The prayers go up and the blessings come down…" The words to this children’s song are only half right, because God sends his blessings many times even when we don’t pray. But with the special smell that comes with a drought-breaking rain, God loves the aroma of his children’s joy, especially when he is the source of its delight!

Let us Pray:

Holy God and Tender Father, you are my great delight. When all others fail, you are still God. You are a rock and fortress, you are a tender shepherd, and you are a solid mountain that cannot be shaken. Your blessings and grace shower upon me and fill me with joy. I can’t wait for the day I get to see you face to face and delight in your presence. Until then, I will see you faith to face and rejoice in anticipation. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Inner achievement…

Everything you achieve on the outside has first been created on the inside. The victories that the world is able to see are direct reflections of the victories that you’ve already won within yourself.

Your biggest obstacle to success can be your own inability to see yourself reaching it. Once you know without a doubt that you can do it, you will indeed make it happen.

The most important person to convince is you. Once you are truly convinced that you can do it, others will quickly be convinced as well.

Whatever you seek to achieve, achieve it first on the inside. Then, even the most formidable outer challenges will not have the power to stop you.

Inner achievement will build your confidence and fuel your persistence. Inner achievement will put the power of purpose behind every action.
