Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, and he restores my soul.

What of Today’s Verse…

He restores my soul. My, that sounds so good. But it is more than talk. When we’ve reached point that we can’t go on, God blesses us with strength to just keep on walking. When we’re in a struggle and things are tough, his power upholds us and we run to victory. When we’re winning victories in his name, we can soar on wings like eagles. He is a shepherd and more. He is the Rock and Sustainer of our lives!

Let us Pray:

O Gentle Shepherd, help me rest tonight in your grace and in the confidence that you are nearby. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Give courage to your dreams…

Although taking a risk does not guarantee success, avoiding risk does guarantee failure. Risk is not the enemy of achievement. It is a companion of achievement. Only when there’s a chance of something going wrong can anything get done right. Progress is built on risks which have been foreseen, accepted and effectively managed.

To get from here to there necessarily involves some degree of risk. Be cautioned. Be careful. Be smart. Be prepared. But don’t be stopped.

Prepare yourself to achieve by preparing for the risks that will surely come in the course of that achievement. Value is built as you move through those risks, for they are what separate real accomplishments from mere wishes.

Put yourself on the line. Have the confidence to succeed. Give courage to your dreams and they will blossom by your efforts into reality.
