John 15:5 & 8
[Jesus said,] "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abide in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
What of Today’s Verse…
We take on Jesus’ character (bear fruit) by remaining intimately connected to him. The distance between heaven and earth is not so great when heaven lives within us. In John 14, Jesus reminded us that if we will obey him, he will come and live in us and will reveal himself to us. So as we obey him, we know him better. His life becomes real in us.
Let us Pray:
Precious Lord, I want to obey your word, your will, and your example. I want to obey you to honour you, to love you, and to know you. So please, help me come to know you better as I walk more closely in your steps. Help me to know what it means to live your life in my world. Amen.

A positive light…
Every fear you feel is coming from you. All your thoughts of negativity are being created in your own mind.
And because of that, you can be free of them. It is you who ultimately decides where your mind will go and what it will hold.
Your thoughts are not caused by anything outside of you. They are the result of the way you’ve chosen to respond to life.
If your thoughts seem to be holding you prisoner, remember that those thoughts are of your own choosing. You can always, at any time, make a different choice.
Simply imagine being free of your fears, and suddenly that’s precisely where you are. Fill your mind with positive, empowering thoughts and you’ll quickly crowd out the thoughts that bring you down.
Reality is as it is, and you can choose to see it in any light you wish. Cast a positive light on life, and you will connect you with real success.
