Ephesians 6:10-11

My brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

What of Today’s Verse…

Many of the struggles in our lives are not mere accidents! In fact, many of them are not put there by God. Our challenges often come from the hand of our enemy, Satan. He always prowls around looking for the best scheme to knock us out of our commitment to, and relationship with, the Lord. Placing ourselves firmly in the hands of the Lord and using his tools of warfare will help us defeat our enemy, who has already been humiliated by Jesus and the cross.

Let us Pray:

Strengthen me, O God, that I may stand against my foe and triumph by the power of your Spirit and bring honour and glory to my conquering Saviour You will return one day and take me home in victory. Through the Rider on the White Horse I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

New Life…

The abundant life of God is energizing and sustaining all creation.

Wherever I look, I see new life. I am also aware that transformation is taking place, though it might not seem evident. For instance, I may observe the simple shape of a tadpole in a pond. I understand, however, that the tadpole has within it the potential to grow and change its shape and form so that it expresses life in greater ways.

I, too, have the potential to change, giving greater expression to life. I bring the realization of this truth to a time of prayer. Relaxed, I take smooth, effortless breaths, releasing any concerns about recent days or coming weeks. Each breath reminds me that I am one with God’s life and with all creation. I am an expression of God’s abundant life.

“A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remember no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.”-John 16:21
