Psalm 112:5

A good man shows favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

What of Today’s Verse…

We are pushed by our culture, and often by our own greed, to look for an angle, to get the upper hand, to try to use others for our own benefit. We are reminded today that our benefit is only found when we benefit and bless others.

Let us Pray:

Oh God, you have been so gracious to me. May I reflect your graciousness to others today in all I say and do. Through Jesus I ask it. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Prosperity

I am a child of God, worthy of abundant living. I welcome my good.

When I look at a coin or other form of money, I recognize its relative value. It has that particular value because, collectively, people who set such standards agree that it has that worth. What I truly value, however, is an abundance that is broader and deeper than anything of a monetary nature.

I am prosperous because I am a child of God. And as I affirm this truth, I align myself with the love of my Creator. I am a child of God, worthy of abundant living, and the love of my Creator supports the truth of my words and affirmations of abundance.

In the awareness of God’s love, I recognize the deeper value of everyone and everything that God has created. The love of God generates ongoing abundance, and I welcome my good in the awareness of divine love that so abundantly prospers me.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”-John 10:10
