What of Today’s Verse…
God’s promises, God’s Scripture, and God’s clearest message of all, his Son, are truth. But only the last of these is truth, grace, deliverer, friend, Lord, Saviour, brother, Redeemer…
Let us Pray:
O God, give me a holy passion to know your truth and live it in both word and deed. Make my life a reflection of your Word, who both proclaimed and lived your truth. In him I pray. Amen.’

Let Go, Let God
I let go, trusting in the power of God for the perfect resolution.
I may have a memory of flying a brightly colored kite in the air. Holding tightly to its string, seeing it rise and dive, I felt as if I was the master of its maneuvers. Then, without warning, the controlling kite string snapped, leaving me wondering where my power went or where my kite itself went.
As with the flyaway kite, I may sometimes think there is nothing more I can do about a challenge in my life. However, there is always, always a divine way open to me. God is present and available, all-knowing and all-powerful in every situation.
With faith, I release to God whatever needs to be resolved. I let go and know that all is well, and I continue to give my best without any need to feel in control of circumstances. With all my heart, I trust in the power and the glory of God.
