Galatians 5:22-23
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

What of Today’s Verse…

A lot of different religious groups will give you all sorts of ways to know whether or not you have the Holy Spirit. Jesus has one simple answer: “by their fruit you will know them.” Paul gives us the definition of holy fruit — LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF-CONTROL. Now why not repeat them out loud and ask the Lord to make this fruit yours in full measure?

Let us Pray:

Abba Father, through the Spirit I call upon you. Please fulfil in me the character you possess. I want to exhibit the qualities of your child, Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom
Faith

I trust God in every moment.

When the world seems to change too quickly or events in my life seem daunting or confusing, I turn to the power that never changes: God.

In moments of quiet meditation, I come back to centre. God within guides me to make right decisions and empowers me to take right action. God is my source of understanding and wisdom, the ever-present love that leads me to form meaningful relationships and take purposeful action. In God, I am assured that order and harmony transcend temporary appearances.

As I connect with the love of God, I know that all things are possible. I trust in God, and I face the world with courage and confidence.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” –1 Corinthians 16:13-14
