If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him.
Keep thy father’s commandment where thou goes, it shall lead thee; when thou sleeps, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakes, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighted in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou have held me by my right hand. Thou shall guide me with thy counsel, and afterwards receive me to glory.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
