After this, I heard the LORD ask, “Is there anyone I can send? Will someone go for us?” “I’ll go,” I answered. “Send me!”
Throughout the ages, faithful believers have answered God’s call. Abraham left everything he had behind and later offered the life of Isaac, his beloved son. Moses abandoned his fear to become the leader of his people. The child Samuel heard the divine voice of God and became a prophet speaking the LORD’S word.
Isaiah, touched by God in the presence of his holy majesty, answered the call without hesitation. Mary, the mother of Jesus, quietly accepted her divine appointment with humility and self-surrender
Perhaps God is calling you for a special purpose. Is your life too busy to hear his voice? Slow down, and listen for his call
