Christ’s Love Is Great

What do you love most? How do you show that person your love? There are many kinds of love we have for others, and in many ways, we can show people we love them. Often, though, we hurt the ones we love without meaning to. Imagine what it would be like to never hurt our loved ones—or to be hurt ourselves—ever again. Could you measure that kind of love?

Paul says we can’t measure the love Jesus has for us. We know when people love us, and we’re comforted by that. But when we remember Christ’s love, we never have to feel unloved. His love goes on endlessly, which means that we are never alone. We cheat ourselves of the greatest of all gifts if we fail to accept the love of Jesus.

Prayer for Spiritual Strength
Eph 3: 14-21

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and upon earth takes its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; being rooted and founded in love, that you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height–and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly more than all the things which we ask or think, according to the power which is working in us, to Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
