What of Today’s Verse
What we know and even what we believe are not that significant if they don’t show up in the way we live. Pure and simple, faith not lived everyday is not faith, it is facade.

Holy God, help me put into practice what I know is your will and your truth today. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.’

JOY
I am grateful that the joy I express returns to bless me.
The joys I discover on the path of life take many forms: beholding the awesome beauty of nature, listening to the laughter of loved ones, and taking in the freshness of a spring rain. The joy I feel is not created by these outer experiences; I am responding to them from the joy that is already in my heart.

I live in a wonderful world that is created by a loving God, a supportive Creator who inspires new growth in nature and new growth within me. I give thanks for God’s activity in the world and within me.

A word of encouragement, an authentic smile of friendship, or a helping hand circulates joy from person to person. I understand that the joy I want to experience begins within me, because the joy I express from within returns to bless me.
