John 15: 5 & 8
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

What of Today’s Verse…

We take on Jesus’ character (bear fruit) by remaining intimately connected to him. The distance between heaven and earth is not so great when heaven lives within us. In John 14, Jesus reminded us that if we will obey him, he will come to live in us and will reveal himself to us. So as we obey him, we know him better. His life becomes real in us.

Let us Pray:

Precious Lord, I want to obey your word, your will, and your example. I want to obey you to honour you, to love you, and to know you. So please, help me come to know you better as I walk more closely in your steps. Help me to know what it means to live your life in my world. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Real peace will arise spontaneously when your mind becomes free of attachments, when you know that the objects of the world can never give you what you really want.

Our mind and our delusions are formless and colourless. However, our ignorance believing in true existence is harder than a rocky mountain. Our delusions are harder than steel.
