Hebrews 10:30-31
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God…

What of Today’s Verse…

God hates injustice, unfairness, brutality and abuse. In a world where the greedy, the murderous, the thieves, the rapists, the muggers… get away with their shameless and despicable behaviour, God is the ultimate assurance that justice will be done and the wicked will not triumph. While those who love and expect Jesus’ return do so with anticipation and joy, those who are evil and vile will find out what a dreadful thing it is to fall into God’s hands.

Let us Pray:

Holy and Righteous God, my Heavenly Father, I am both uncomfortable and comforted to know that you will bring justice on those who have violently abused the innocent, weak, helpless, underprivileged, and infirm. Give me the courage to stand between the evil of my world and those on whom it preys. By the grace and victory of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Words of Wisdom

Yes! I say yes to God!

Saying yes to change may be the last thing I want to agree to do today or any other day. However, as I am going through change, I often learn I am capable of doing and adjusting to much more than I once thought I could.

True, I will have opportunities to stretch and grow beyond what I think I can do to what I can actually do. However, it is when I move forward with God as my guide that I am learning what God is capable of doing through me, and that is unlimited.

A change may be about my daily routine, my lifestyle, my physical and emotional well-being. I say yes to God guiding me and working in and through me in wondrous ways.

“And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” —Matthew 9:28-29
