Jeremiah 33:2-3

Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

What of Today’s Verse…

In a universe of billions of stars, think of the power of the God who made them and knows each of their names. Think of all he knows that we don’t. Think of all he has seen that is not in a history book. Think of all he has done and can do. Add to this that he invites us to speak to him about the things of our heart.

Let us Pray:

Almighty God, there are so many things I am simply ignorant about. There are so many things in my world that I can’t understand. There are so many things about you that I long to know but I can’t begin to comprehend you. Please, dear Father, please give me more of you, and about you, that I may know you better. You are beyond me, so deal gently as you reveal yourself. I look with anticipation at the thought of knowing you, the Unsearchable, the Almighty, God, my Abba. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.

Daily Wisdom

Let Go, Let God…

The intelligence of God is directing me as I move forward in meeting my goals.

Am I allowing some consistent, negative thoughts about what I think is limiting me to hold me back from achieving my goals and dreams? If so, then I release the negative and begin thinking about the positive: all that I can do by letting the intelligence of God direct me.

I quit distrusting myself and my own abilities and trust in God and what God can accomplish through me. I let go and let God! I build on this positive attitude by affirming the truth: The intelligence of God is directing me as I move forward in meeting my goals. Including such positive words as I can and I am in affirmations of truth, I let go and let God.

“Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? And he said, certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.'”
