Isa 32:18
“My people shall dwell in a peaceable home, and in secure dwellings and quiet resting places.”
I live in the order of God that pervades the universe…
When, even for a moment, I think about the quietest, most peaceful place I have ever been or could ever be I feel at peace.
So when I have to rush here and then somewhere else, finishing one thing only to go on to another, I take a break. I think of myself floating quietly, peacefully in the calmness of divine order that pervades all God’s universe.
There is, in fact, no place I can be where God’s order is not present. In rush-hour traffic, on the job, or in my home, divine order surrounds and supports me.
In stressful times I remember that there is absolute calm in the middle of a storm, and that’s where I want to be. I will be as I let my thoughts move towards the order that God created me to live in.
