True happiness comes from knowing that I am filled with the joy of Spirit…
A smile spreading across my face is an outer indication of a feeling of happiness. However, that feeling might be a temporary state of happiness. True absolute joy comes from the spirit of God within me. This joy causes my soul to smile.
Because I am filled with the joy of Spirit, I smile with my eyes, also. Just thinking of the blessings that divine love brings to me causes my eyes to dance and twinkle with the warm glow of Spirit.
My inner joy is also evident in my loving words and thoughtful actions, which naturally come about because I know how good it feels to be filled with joy. The way I share with and care about others is directly related to the joy of Spirit I feel. I know true happiness because I know the joy of Spirit.
