Abide in me, and I in you.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.  I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.

Put you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  He that said, I know him, and kept not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  He that said he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

As newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby:  Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
