Mark 8:11-12

We know that Jesus did perform many miracles, or signs. However, it was his good policy not to degrade his ministry by satisfying the self-serving ambitions of some. Such works would only encourage their misunderstanding (Matt. 15:58}, so Jesus refused to perform in their circus. But to the needy that came to him in real faith as their heaven-sent Messiah his generosity knew no limits: “He healed all of their sick” (Matt. 12:15). Among such believers Jesus still moves today, even miraculously ministering to their needs.
