Praise In The Midst Of Suffering
Isaiah 24: 1-17

Destruction is everywhere. The cries of pain, the lament of suffering, and the smell of death pervade the air. There is no hope, no relief in sight . . . then out of this misery comes a song. A song of joy, a song of praise (vv: 14-16). What manner of insanity is this? How can there be anything joyful in the midst of such agony?

When all hope seems lost there is only one place left to turn. If we are able to turn from our suffering and look at God, we can find hope in the midst of despair. He can create an island of peace and praise for us in a sea of trouble. What song will you sing to him today?
