Be Strong and of Good Courage
Isaiah 35: 3-7
Isaiah foresaw a day when the desert would blossom and the poor, maimed, and oppressed of the land would rejoice because God had come and righted every wrong. What the prophet promised about the return of the Lord contains glimpses of hope for us today.
Where does your life feel dry and lifeless? Ask Jesus to make that part flourish like an oasis. In what ways do you consider yourself helpless and disabled? Invite God to make you strong and capable. Trust God to change you. Get ready to dance for joy when he does.
“Whatever happens, keep thinking of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do” (1 Thessalonians 5: 18).
