Singing God’s Praise
Luke 1: 5-80

Luke 1 contains two of the many songs in the Bible. An angel came to Zechariah and told him that he would have a son, but Zechariah did not believe it. So the angel said to him that he would not be able to speak until the child was born. Zechariah finally rejoiced publicly when he was once again able to talk (v: 68-79).

Meanwhile, the same angel appeared to a young woman named Mary and told her that she would give birth to the promised Savior. Mary was confused, but she believed the angel. Soon Mary was alone singing God’s praises (v: 47-55).

It is good to sing and praise God for his goodness. Don’t hold back in expressing your joy.
