Dealing With Sin
Matthew 18: 15-35
(Luke 17:3)

“If I ignore it, maybe it will go away.” Too often we think that way about something unpleasant, or even about something sinful. Sin breaks our relationship with God and others. The way to deal with sin is to acknowledge it, ask God for forgiveness, and turn away from the sinful act or thought.

There can be no greater joy than to know God has forgiven our sins because of Jesus’ death on the cross. And as forgiven people, we also need to be great forgivers. Holding grudges is in opposition to forgiveness. We must forgive others just as God has forgiven us.
