We Are All Important To God
Matthew 18: 1-14
(Mark -: 33-37; Luke 9: 46-48)

Self-importance is a dangerous condition. Often, when we want to be the biggest or the best, we really show that we are afraid of being forgotten. We don’t want people to ignore us, so we try to be ahead of others. We need to be more concern about what God thinks of us instead of our peers.

Because God cares for all of his children—including the poor, the weak, and the ignorant—we must care for them also. Our natural desire is to associate with important people, and ignore those who are not. Let’s fight this impulse and care for those who are weaker.
