1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
What of Today’s Verse…
We are to be ready and able to tell folks about the hope that Jesus has brought to our lives! But when we share this hope, two things are important: our credibility — is Jesus really Lord of our hearts — and our character — do we show gentleness and respect in our approach. The goal is not to win arguments, but hearts to the God of character!
Let us Pray:
Holy and Loving Father, thank you for speaking your grace in Jesus. I’m not sure I would have heard any other message. Give me the conviction I need to share my hope in Jesus, but in a way that reflects your grace. Through my Living Hope I pray. Amen.

Faith…
I live confidently and freely, for God is with me as my help in every need.
Looking back over my life, I remember countless times when my faith sustained me through difficult situations. My faith in God’s presence and power brought light to shine in the darkest of nights. My faith brought peace that quietened all anxiety. Remembering these times encourages me to live confidently and freely now. God is with me as my help in every need.
Like a gardener tending a garden of beautiful flowers, I tend my thoughts, weeding out any that are unlike the nature of God expressing itself through me. I replace these weed-thoughts with loving, fearless, faith-filled thoughts.
My faith is in God. I have no fear, for God is with me as my constant guide.
